The last row of each page is available for use as a result of suggestions raised by the local community.

If you have a passion that can benefit others in your community, then we would like to assist you.

We want to try a different approach to other organisations. Most organisations support either a known charity or a local sporting group. We want to be different and support individuals in their passion. The passion should assist others.

We are not ruling out promoting charities. If you are passionate about a particular charity then we want to support you with that passion.

We are open to suggestions. We don't know where this is going to take us, but we are willing to see.

The main conditions are:

• Your passion has to be non-commercial

• You provide a reciprocal link to your JustLocal postcode page to help your community.

• It must not conflict with an advertiser. (Many community organisations compete with businesses and this has to be kept in mind)

• The lots will be available on a first come first served basis

• The allocation of lots may be for a period of time which we expect will be limited to three months, however this really depends on how the lots are used

• The additional workload placed on JustLocal needs to be minimal. We will update the post code page with a link to the website and include the graphic. You will need to provide the graphic, website address and text tip.

• You will need to make sure the page we link to is maintained. It may be a page that you maintain, or that is maintained by others.

• If the page is not maintained by you then we will require permission from the owner of the page to link to the page. We will not link to any page unless permission is provided.

• You can only use a community lot for your post code area

• The website the lot is linked to must not advertise other organisations or products and services.

• You will need to obtain permission from an organisation if you are using the organisation's graphics.

• Anything that JustLocal is associated with must maintain a high degree of ethical and moral conduct. We want JustLocal to be a family friendly service.

Example:

I have created two products which enable people to exclude American spelt words in the documents they create. This is a personal choice and there are many other people who would like to do the same.

I produced the web page, the graphic and the text tip required. I look after all of the requests for the files.

The only requirement on JustLocal is to allocate the lots required, to add the link to the web pages and include the text tip.

Who is the person I should contact?

We hope that for each post code area a person will nominate themselves to act as the contact person. We will add that person's contact details at the bottom of the post code page.

The contact person will be an advertiser on the post code page.

What if there is no contact person?

JustLocal is new and our community effort is still evolving. If there is no contact person then please feel free to contact us.

Some possible examples of passions.

• Someone in the area may be passionate about local sport. Producing a web page the links in the local sporting activities could create greater exposure for local sport and help the community.

• A person may wish to maintain a list of all the community contact numbers that are important for the area. This handy reference would help others.

• Losing a pet can be distressing. Someone may wish to maintain a lost and found list of pets and other items.

 If you think it is important, then it may be important to others.
