For Android devices the amount of data used each day is estimated to be around 2.5MB per day. The data usage was determined using an iPhone 4 for iOS and an Aldi Lenovo with Android over a number of days and averaged. The data usage amounts were then rounded to what was considered a reasonable estimate. From your own usage you can work out your own daily usage over time and use your own iOS or Android daily data usage values. Initially use the values provided and when you have used the mobile phone as a GPS Tracker for a while, use your own data. The amount you need to enter is in megabytes.
