How is the winner chosen

For each prize a number of people can enter. Once the number of entries has been exceeded, entry will be closed and a winner selected at random by the company donating the prize.

REDRAWS: A considerable number of people are missing out on prizes. I suspect it is because of their spam filter. The prize notifications aren't bouncing which means email is getting through, but people aren't seeing the emails, possibly because of their spam filter. Therefore I have to redraw and people are missing out. Don't miss out. If you're entering competitions you should use a product like OzEfilter to protect you from spam. The spam filters in email clients (both desktop and web based) often treat wanted emails as spam, which is not what you want when you are entering for prizes.

Conditions

• You can only enter once for each prize, plus a second time if you participate in the second chance opportunity.
• Anyone found trying to cheat or manipulate the system will have their entires declared void and removed. The Great Give-Away is meant to be a bit of light fun for everyone.
• Entry is only open to Australian residents with a delivery address in Australia.
• You may only enter for yourself and must not enter on behalf of others.
• Entry is open to people 18 years or older. If you would like to win a prize and you are under 18, please ask someone over 18, such as a parent to enter on your behalf.
• Each prize is run as a separate competition with each prize being offered by the company who has contributed the prize.
• You agree you are happy to have your name listed against any prize you may win.
• A prize where there is a service element must be redeemed within 28 days of winning or the prize will lapse.
• Should the company drawing the prize not be contacted back by the winner by 9am on the day after the draw, the prize will be redrawn. There will be up to two redraws for the prize. With redraws the prize must be claimed by 9am the following day. If you do not claim the prize and miss the deadline no correspondence will be entered into.
• If after contacting the first three possible winners no winner responds, we will send an email to all those who have entered for the prize. Those responding within 24 hours will then form the entrants for the prize and one person will be randomly selected to win the prize.
  
• If the winner from those responding does not claim the prize, the prize will be returned to the business.
  
• Should for whatever reason a prize not arrive, get damaged in transit, or through no fault of anyone, not work, the maximum compensation is the amount you paid. Which of course is nothing. • We reserve the right to alter this competition at any time and in any way, in the situation something occurs which we had not planned for or anticipated. (This shouldn't happen, but we have to be prepared.)
• The use of an automated process is not allowed. All entries need to be entered by a real person
• The number of entries set by the contributor when the prize is established is an upper limit. The contributor is at liberty to close the prize earlier if they desire. The number of entries cannot be increased.
