Profit sharing. Aloha, I've recently returned from a relaxing holiday in Hawaii and whilst I was away, there was plenty of exciting things happening back home. I could hardly wait to get back. Do you know it is possible to put your business on the Internet with a professional appearance for around $12 a year. By professional I mean using a domain name and email address that relates to your business. If you can create a word document you can even create your own web site with a single page to promote your business at no extra cost. The JustLocal site contains lots of gems if you know where to look. The OzEfilter site www.OzEfilter.com which includes the email address with the OzEfilter.com domain is a site which could have been set up for $12 a year. Help raise money for a good cause A while ago I came up with the idea of using the Online Bidz service as a way to raise money by converting donated items into cash. I see this as a great new way for charities to raise money and encourage others to check out the Online Bidz service. Many businesses find it hard to donate cash, but donating goods or services is much easier. Converting the goods and services into money is done by using the Online Bidz site to auction off the items. Online Bidz is not like auction sites like eBay. It is more like a raffle where the money is raised through a small bid fee when bid is placed. The bid you place usually limited to less than once percent of the retail price of the item and that is the amount you pay if you win. My daughter for example has won the following items.
To my surprise when I returned from holiday I found I had been bumped into the highest unique bidder for the Melbourne Tramcar Restaurant dinner for two. A prize I thought would be great to win. There were only two more bids left and since I had two more bids available to me, I bid out the item.

In-line Australian English spell checking with Internet Explorer. Don't let typo's and spelling errors have an effect on how others perceive your business, when it is so simple to now have an Australian English spell checker when you enter information on-line using Internet Explorer. Until now only Firefox users have been able to use my excellent dictionaries with in-line spell checking. Now you can continue to use Internet Explorer 7 and have in-line spell checking as well. They are a great aid to those where English is a second language, and all our young Australians who struggle with the two ways to spell thousands of Australian words. Do you know that many Australians incorrectly believe the spelling of words such as "organise" with a "z" is the American spelling? These people can become very passionate about their beliefs, even though it is based on an incorrect assumption. It would be very easy to simply say, "that is their problem". If you are in a situation where you are applying for a job, completing a school assignment, or trying to get business, you can't predetermine the spelling preference of the person receiving your material and how that will affect how you are perceived. I do not profess to be perfect in my spelling, grammar or typing, but using the prescriptive Australian English spell checking dictionary does lift the quality of my work and I hope it can help you as well.
